MYOFASCIAL CUPPING

What is Myofascial Cupping?

Myofascial Cupping uses massage oil and negatively pressured cups to lift and separate soft tissue, increasing blood supply to the area and creating a gentle stretch to the underlying soft tissue.

This increased blood flow delivers oxygen to the targeted tissues and encourages the healing process.

What can Myofascial Cupping treat?

Myofascial cupping can be used in conjunction with other therapies (such as dry needling and remedial massage) and can be effective in the treatment of:

  • sporting injuries
  • muscle spasms
  • headaches & migraines
  • lactic acid build up
  • musculoskeletal discomfort
  • chronic pain

How safe is Myofascial Cupping?

Myofascial cupping is generally very safe, with little to nil side effects. The gliding technique used in this treatment prevents bruising of the skin and encourages healing.
